This weekend was more surreal than normal, even by Llanwrtyd Wells standards.
Aside from Lady Lily the Pink dragging a freezing Warwick Davies out of a peat bog and wrapping him in a towel (he’d just tried his hand at a spot of Bog Snorkelling); we’d been photo bombing the Worm Charming Championships; crammed 9 people into a Volvo to avoid a rain storm and make it to a live gig; had 15 people camp on our lawn for the Summer Cider Cycle; listed to a man in a lime green tutu’s opening address of the World Alternative Games; and, along with my Loony ‘sis’ (The Lord’s Drummer’s Daughter) been interviewed by ITV as to why I thought the area attracted so many eccentric people……it’s almost certainly to do with the ley-lines you know.
…lets not even mention the 72-year-old man in a ‘zombie clown’ costume being mistaken for me….
Yep, I can safely say that this weekend has been more than a little more insane than the average!!!…..
Looks like a fun time, and I do love Warwick Davis. Janet:)
Love the pictures! Might have been more insane but it looks fun nevertheless.
