Insanity.. the only thing that makes sense

I’m not particularly ‘mainstream’, I’ve never hidden my alter-ego, I’m often a bit”out there”; In fact I’m more than a little bit ” loony”. However….. hold on for the serious bit…

In the May 2015 General Election I voted for a coalition… I don’t mean I had a special box on my ballot paper, I mean I voted in a way I hoped would ensure that neither Milliband nor Cameron had unfetted control over the country. Or rather, that was the plan. As it happened I needn’t have worried about a Labour Government…Ed and his spin team ensured his unnatural stance in front of any camera removed any credibility he had regarding his ability to manager the UK. However I still find it hard to believe we have an ALL-Conservative Government. Cameron and his toffee-nosed, out of touch cronies who wouldn’t understand the troubles of the hardworking woman or man if they were explained it in words of single syllables; unfettered governing; hurtling through legislation in a destructive whirlwind having secured less than 36.9% of the total vote.

If you consider the second most popular stance was 33.9% disengaged ie DID NOT VOTE, it does not bode well.

Actually, being a bit of a statistics obsessed saddo I worked out that if you take the Conservative vote as a percentage of the total voting population only 16.1% of the population voted for a Conservative Government (I could bore you with the maths… let me know if you need my workings, its been a long time since I did my O Levels)

I’ve tried voting for sanity and moderation; I’ve tried keeping a liberal mind and hoping the governance retained some balance. No more my friends… from now on I stand for Insanity, it’s the only thing that makes sense.

Even without a fairer proportional representation system they only have 331 of the 650 seats and get to make ALL the decisions

THIS FLAGRANT DISREGARD AND PUNISHMENT, THIS LACK OF RESPECT: FOR THE POOR; THE WORKING CLASS; THE YOUNG; THE LOW PAID; THE GRAFTERS; THE DISABLED; THE SELF EMPLOYED ….
